Electric Floor Heating Mat – Ultra-Thin, Flexible & Easy to Install

Heat a larger bathroom, open-plan kitchen, mudroom, or living space with this complete 240V electric radiant floor heating system. At 145 sq ft of coverage, this kit steps up from standard sizes to handle the rooms where cold floors are felt most.

The 1,740W heating mat (20" wide × 88.45 ft long) is just 1/8" thick, so it installs directly beneath your finish floor without raising the surface height. A self-adhesive fiberglass mesh backing adheres to the subfloor without stapling, and pre-spaced heating cables at 3" intervals deliver consistent, even warmth across every square foot. The mesh can be cut and turned to navigate around islands, fixtures, and irregular layouts — just never cut the heating cable. Cable spacing is adjustable to 2" or 4" to tune output for your specific floor type.

The kit includes the OJ Microline UDG-4999 thermostat with a built-in Class A GFCI (5 mA) and self-testing protection, dual air and floor sensing, and a 7-day programmable schedule — so heat runs only when needed, trimming energy costs. The included 15 ft floor sensor is compatible with tile, stone, marble, granite, vinyl, laminate, and engineered wood. Wet-location rated (UL/ETL listed USA and Canada).
