The kit includes a pre-spaced electric heating mat, a Honeywell/Aube 7-day programmable floor-sensing thermostat, a compatible floor sensor, and a full installation manual — everything needed from subfloor to finish in a single purchase.

Thin, Low-Profile Installation

At approximately 1/8" thick, the heating cable embeds under tile without noticeably raising the finished floor height — a critical factor in renovation and retrofit projects. The self-adhesive fiberglass mesh backing adheres firmly to any clean, smooth subfloor without staples, and can be repositioned during installation as needed. Heating cable comes pre-spaced at 3" intervals for consistent, even heat across every square foot of coverage.

To navigate around toilets, vanities, shower bases, or irregular room shapes, simply cut the red fiberglass mesh — never cut the blue heating cable — and rotate or fold the mat as needed. A single 10 ft armored cold lead runs up the wall to the electrical box, keeping the wiring connection straightforward.
